A VULNERABLE WOMAN
IN A UNUSUAL SITUATION
Kate Griffith isn’t asking for the perfect man. Hell, meaningless sex would be good at this point in her middle aged life. Thanks to the sexual fantasies that have plagued her dreams lately, Kate seems to have more sex while she sleeps.
Kate works for a small town newspaper in Olean, New York and has been assigned a story that could make or break her so called career. There is a stalker preying on lonely, vulnerable, older women.
He waits for her to return home. He convinces her to make love to him. He leaves her with a single, long stem, red rose. She is his ‘Rose Bud’. Kate fully intends to be this stalker’s worst nightmare.
She runs into one small obstacle as she pursues the stalker’s true identity; none of his victims will identify him. Is he really that good in bed or has he tugged on what remaining heartstrings these poor women have?
Laura A. Hooper fills her first novel with a dry, contagious sense of humor that all are certain to enjoy. Her main character is a vulnerable, yet strong headed woman that takes charge of any situation that is tossed her way; with the exception of sex. Thank goodness for dreams. |
